The outer fabric is made from vintage pure silk (Shoken) Kimono. This material is extremely delicate and requires special attention to preserve its unique beauty and history.
Cleaning & Daily Care
- Professional Dry Clean Only: We strongly recommend taking this garment to a professional dry cleaner to ensure its longevity.
- Airing Out: For daily maintenance, we recommend hanging the garment in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight as it may cause the colors to fade.
Important Precautions
- Color Fading & Transfer: Due to the traditional dyeing methods used in vintage fabrics, some color bleeding or transfer may occur. Please be careful when pairing with light-colored clothing or bags.
- Avoid Liquids: Avoid contact with water, rain, or other liquids, as silk is prone to water spotting and shrinkage.
- Ironing: Avoid high-temperature ironing. If necessary, use a cool iron (low heat) and always use a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.
